Pillnitz Wine Hike: Dresden - Day Trip from Berlin

Explore one of Dresden's best wine terraces, hiking from winery to winery.
Take a day trip to Dresden's most beautiful wine terrace, facing out across the Elbe visiting palaces, walking through vineyards, and tasting some of the best local wines.

Visit the historic and beautiful district of Pilitz, on the outskirts of Dresden. The day’s adventure will combine hiking through vineyards, visiting spectacular palaces and wine terraces, while enjoying views across the magnificent Elbe.
The tour of Pilnitz will take you through the old palace and gardens, before journeying along the region's famed Saxon Wine Route. Along the way, we'll visit multiple wineries, enjoying wine and cake along the river, before visiting the award-winning Weingut Klaus Zimmerling.
The hike is a casual 10km trek, with steep inclines and stunning views.
This is a trip for anyone who loves nature and adores wine.

The tour will be led by travel author and guide Dan Cole, author of the leading hiking guide Weinwandern Deutschland. Dan has also worked previously for Lonely Planet, Easyjet Magazine, and Lufthansa, and has several published travel guides about Berlin and beyond.
