🗒️ Topic: Developers just want to develop their features. But in reality a release is often a constant struggle to production. Software architecture and code conventions are subpar at best, unsupported libraries in legacy code or ill-matched open source licenses are a potential disaster waiting to happen. The infrastructure team mistrust the k8s communication behaviour because they cannot set the config manually on their appliances and on top of it all the "cover-you-ass" security regulations has brought efficiency down to a crawl. And here we thought IT was about automation.
Can we set up better DevOps integration? Where are the typical pitfalls in those transitions and how can IT-Sec even be an integrator instead of a roadblock? We gonna present typical scenarios of SecDevOps integration fails and will discuss methods on how to overcome them - be they technical, organizational or based on culture.
We want you to come and bring your struggles and experiences with you - let the security team listen to your problems this time!
