For this edition of our collaborative modeling meetup, we'll run a Big Picture EventStorming session on a holiday rental platform. You've all used one. Now let's pull it apart.
We'll start with domain events on sticky notes, walk the timeline from "listing published" to "review submitted," and group what we find. Then we'll draw boundaries, name them, and talk about where the same words start meaning different things to different people.
As always, everyone is welcome. You don't need to be a software engineer to participate. In fact, it would be great to have more people who aren't software engineers. We're here to explore a domain together, not get into implementation details. As long as you care about getting things right, you belong here!
This is a hands-on workshop. Be prepared to participate fully and add to the energy of the room. No prior preparation or equipment is necessary. Looking forward to seeing you there!
