Meetup 6: InsurTech - The next big thing?!?!

Dear FinTech-Community,

On 9th of March we would like to invite you to discuss a topic that currently might be even more hyped than the term FinTech, InsurTech. The location-wise we are returning to the beautiful Westend Campus of Goethe University, same building as for our 4th meetup but this time the exact location is "Hörsaal-Zentrum" Room "HZ11". Big thank you to Goethe Unibator for hosting us again!

After two events that differed slightly from our usual format, we are going back to where we came from. So far the agenda looks like this:

• Steffen Glomb, CTO of Clark will give us some insights in the ‘Tech’ in InsureTech

• Bernd Scharrer, CEO of the Allianz Digital Accelerator comes all the way from Munich to give us insights about the accelerator program of Allianz and how it fuels innovation for the corporation

• Paul Morgenthaler, Investment Manager at Commerz Ventures will share his views as an investor who lately focusses mainly on InsurTech

After the presentations we can look forward to three well diversified FinTech pitches:

• Creditshelf, our local hero of the night, will present their vision how to chance corporate lending

• Exmedio, a Berlin-based InsurTech company from the Allianz Digital Accelerator program will present how you take care of your digital profile… after your gone

• Finotek, our very special guest from South Korea will show us possibilities in digital identification created in a high-tech environment

There will be beer and pizza again, this time sponsored by Frankfurt Main Finance. Big thank you for taking (not only) this part in supporting the local FinTech community!
