Night of Lights – Day Trip to the Heidelberg Castle Illumination

Let’s escape Frankfurt for a day and head to beautiful Heidelberg!

We’ll spend the afternoon discovering the old town, cafés, and riverside paths before settling in for the spectacular castle illumination and fireworks over the Neckar.

Hi, here's the plan for Saturday: We'll meet at Frankfurt am Main Central Station, platform 11, at 2:00 p.m. or directly on the train; the first wagon is ours :=) The train leaves at 2:06 p.m. We'll arrive in Heidelberg around 3:40 p.m. and meet up with some locals there. The fireworks start around 10:00 p.m. Direct trains from Heidelberg to Frankfurt depart at
11:20 p.m. – arriving at 12:48 a.m. as well as
12:20 a.m.–1:49 a.m.
and 2:26 a.m.–3:49 a.m.
