Almond blossoms in the Rheingau, Eberbach monastery and Eltville with its castle

We start in Hattenheim and hike to the park of EBS with its palace, continue through the vineyards, where we will see some almond trees in blossom. Then we hike to famous Eberbach monastery and continue to Kiedrich with a beautiful marketplace and church. From there, we hike down to Eltville with its nice marketplace and castle at the Rhein waterfront and garden.
We meet in Fra Hbf at 10:45 at the beginning of platform 21 for RB10 departing at 10:53. A Deutschlandticket or RMV annual ticket is recommended, but you can also buy a single day ticket.
The distance is ca. 15 km. Have a look at the route and elevation in the photos section. Bring beverages & food for the way with you.
