Hello 😊. This is a new group where we will discuss exciting books about history, politics and economics and other social science related stuff. We will likely focus on texts written for a general audience, although that should not deter people from suggesting books requiring a deeper dive. We would like to create a space for friendly and inspiring conversation where we can learn from each other and generally have a good time.

Hi all, for the next meeting, we will dive into the history of the Cold War and read The Cold War: A new history by John Lewis Gaddis : Out of courtesy to our hosts, I would like to ask everyone to order some beverage or food. Finally, if you sign up for the meeting please update your RSVP so that I know what table to reserve. Also it is not nice to routinely sign up and then not to turn up.
