Jetpack Compose is Android’s modern toolkit for building native UI. It simplifies and accelerates UI development on Android - no need to write XML any longer! Android GDE Carlos Mota will give us a talk on this exciting new toolkit:

"As our Twitter streams become flooded with the release of Jetpack Compose 1.0, it's time to jump into the UI declarative world and reform the XML and all of the `findViewById` calls that exist scattered throughout the code.

Join me in this talk to see the first steps into this composable new world and build your first Android app with Compose!"

The event will be a hybrid event (online & offline). We will make an online event for everyone who is too lazy to go out, too far away or who isn't into meeting people, the speaker will be online as well, and everyone from Hannover who feels like it can meet us at Die Kabine in Königsworther Str. 37 (www.die-kabine.de). We have softdrinks and beer there for a small donation, Covid self tests, and will probably order some Pizza together :)

Looking forward to hanging out with you!

Mira & Marvin
