Through Sachsenwald to Schwarzenbek (21 km / moderate)

Dear hikers, if you are afraid that hiking from Aumühle to Schwarzenbek might be a boring idea, then you might be surprised by this great, adventurous and fun (my kind of fun😅) forest hike! It is categorized as "moderate" because of the distance, but sure-footedness is necessary and also sturdy shoes, preferably boots. And because of the expected cold weather, we won't be able to take any relaxing breaks, only short stops for drinks and food. Please bring your own food and drinks as needed for the day.

We meet at the station S-Aumühle, in front of the exit, at 9:57. If you come to Aumühle by S-Bahn, please make sure to arrive with the train at 9:56. We will wait for this train, even if it is late, but not for the next later train. Since Schwarzenbek is a replacement stop for the currently closed Hamburg-Berlin railway line, there are plenty of options for our return journey by bus, either to S-Bergedorf or to U-Steinfurther Allee.

Please play nice and only sign up if your are 100% sure that you will join! Unreliable people (no show or late cancellation) may be excluded from future events with limited capacity. Repeat offenders will be banned from the group.

As always, this is a free event, but voluntary donations are welcome and help me cover the costs of running the group. Nobody is expected to give, only do so if you can afford it and would like to. Look out for the violet donation box toward the end of the hike.
