Bike Trip into Vierlande (46 km / moderate)

Moin, dear bikers! Don't know why, but I've been in the mood for cycling lately, and with suitable weather forecast for Saturday, I remembered this route: Starting right in the heart of the city at the Deichtorhallen, we'll follow the Norderelbe and Dove Elbe rivers into the rural Vierlande area east of Hamburg, all the way to the edge of the Sachsenwald forest. Our destination will be the Reinbek S-Bahn station.

Most of the route is easy to cycle, though the last third can get a bit bumpy and steep in places. Still, any confident cyclist with a reliable bike should have no trouble joining in. If you come along, please bring your own food and drinks as needed.

Please play nice and only sign up if your are 100% sure that you will join! Unreliable people (no show or late cancellation) may be excluded from future events with limited capacity. Repeat offenders will be banned from the group.

As always, this is a free event, but voluntary donations are welcome and help me cover the costs of running the group. Nobody is expected to give, only do so if you can afford it and would like to. Look out for the violet donation box toward the end of the hike.
