Stacy Bamberg, CEO of Veristride will share the journey of a young startup in developing a healthcare data analytics platform leveraging IoT via an insole wearable. She will discuss the many opportunities for using IoT in healthcare, as well as Veristride’s approach to biomechanical analysis of how people walk, run and move and the many opportunities to help them heal, excel and thrive in both clinical and recreational settings. Stacy will share the approach her team is taking to build an ecosystem of collaborators who can help advance and benefit from a global community and platform. We anticipate this being a highly interactive and engaging talk for entrepreneurs, technologists and anyone else interesting in shaping the future of healthcare.

Stacy Morris Bamberg uses advanced wearable sensors and real-time analytics to help people change the way they move – from stroke survivors improving their ability to stand up from a chair, to amputees learning to walk without a limp, to runners, skiers and other athletes understanding how to improve their form. She is Founder and CEO of Veristride, which makes insoles and applications for real-time stride analysis and personalized coaching. As a faculty member at the University of Utah, she researched insole sensors and rehabilitation as well as how people learn. Stacy has a Doctorate in Medical Engineering and an undergraduate and masters degrees in mechanical engineering from MIT, where she got her start in the power of body-worn sensors, designing, building, testing and validating the GaitShoe at the MIT Media Lab.
