We will do a hike to the Doppler Ball and Beek's Place via Skyline Trail in Corona. We expect to have a good view into the San Gabriel Mountains in the north and the cities in the south. Beek's Place is a weekend getaway built by Joseph Beek in the 1930’s and is now the ruins of a stone cabin. Doppler Station is close by to the Beeks' Place.

Distance: 12 miles
Elevation gain: 2300 ft
Time: about 5 hours
