Hello everyone, we’re excited to invite you to the OWASP Frankfurt Chapter Meetup #78!
Our OWASP Chapter serves central Germany, particularly within the Rhine-Main (Hesse) region, as a platform to discuss and share information on application security topics.
Anyone interested and enthusiastic about application security or security in general is welcome. All meetings are free and open. You do not have to be an OWASP member to attend our event. What are we going to do?
Javan Rasokat is back! After his hands-on workshop at Meetup #73, Javan returns with a new 2-hour workshop based on the training he delivered at Black Hat USA 2026 in Las Vegas.Workshop:
From Vuln Report to Paved Road: Secure-by-Design in the AI Coding Era
Whether code is written by a human or by AI, the same vulnerability classes keep coming back as tickets — until you stop treating each report as a one-off and start engineering the class out of the platform. In this two-hour workshop we flip that habit. Starting from realistic vulnerability reports (no laptop lab required), you will name the bug class, sketch the architectural root cause, and design a reusable secure-by-design pattern - the kind of “paved road” that makes the unsafe path the awkward one. We also challenge a common AppSec KPI: mean time to respond is not enough. What matters is how often the same bug class does not reappear across services
