👋 Hello and welcome to the 10th Leipzig.js meetup 🥳!

This time, we’ll have an amazing talk about the composable vue. Feel free to join us 🙂

The event is suitable for intermediate attendees but some topics could be more advanced.

### About the talk:

In this talk, I'll share the experiences we've had maintaining VueUse.

Composables are at the heart of modern Vue applications. But not every composable delivers on its promise. Hidden dependencies, unexpectedly split state, or memory leaks can quickly arise. To get started, let’s briefly explain why the Composition API was created in the first place and how it differs from the Options API. A quick look at Effect Scopes shows how Vue manages reactivity in the background and cleans up afterward.

Next, we’ll cover the dos and don’ts of writing a composable. How do you name and structure them effectively? How do you handle arguments and return values? When is cleanup needed, and when is state unintentionally shared? Using real-world examples, we’ll see which patterns cause problems without us even noticing. And we’ll show how to turn them into composables that are reusable, predictable, and easy to test.
