LSLab Berlin 9.5 @Codecentric - Learning to Unlearn
Details
We finally have our theme for this month:
Learning to Unlearn - Getting Good at Letting Go
The Theme & String of Structures
When the design team met, we had so many great ideas (as usual), but a thread through it all was - exploring how we can get 'there', without first being ok with letting go of where we 'are'. So we decided to take a deeper look at what's stopping us, or blocking us from real progress.
It doesn't seem that we are worried about learning (we are self-proclaimed 'Learners'). There is always something to learn, and we are always learning something (even if we don't know it).
And sometimes... those things we learned, we need to unlearn to truly move forward. What would happen if we got really good at learning to unlearn and let go of what no longer serves us? Those outdated ways of thinking, working, and behaving. Those things keeping us stuck!
Join us to explore what unlearning means, why it might be important to expand that skill (no more than ever), and how LS can help us and our teams start to think differently, to let go to move forward.
We can't wait to unlearn with you all!
Your #LSLabBerlin Design Team 9.5 ;-)
Our Host
We've been invited to use the cool space at codecentric - again! They hosted us a year ago and are doing it again! Lucky us!
It's a small space so we will limit the participant number accordingly.
***** Doors Open at 18:30, Structures start promptly at 19:00. *****
IMPORTANT NOTE:
We don't debrief during the event because we want it to reflect a real-world application as much as possible. However, our intention is that people leave with inspiration, connection, and some kind of insight - whatever the topic. There's time to ask questions and talk about the mechanics at the end or at the break.
Never been to an LSLab Meet-up and don't know what Liberating Structures are?
You don't need to! This is a community of practice, so it's helpful, and also, there are lots of newbies looking for tools to make their meetings and human engagement, and interaction better! This is the place to do that! We don't teach LS directly, but you get to experience them and see how they work by being a participant in our 'lab'. It's for experimenting, exploring, and all levels of learning. Join us!
