This is a group for anyone interested in meeting like-minded people and socialising by participating in hiking adventures. All skill levels are welcome. We started this group in 2018 to help people get connected, travel together and explore amazing natural wonders.
With us you get to:
đ Discover destinations that are not easily reached by public transport. London Social Hiking is the ONLY hiking group that holds the licence to operate minibuses. All our experiences are unique!
đșïž Be part of a small group (max 15 people). A lot of you guys agree that small-group tours offer a more rewarding experience, more flexible itineraries and better opportunities to connect with fellow hikers and nature.
đ„Ÿ All trips are led by qualified and knowledgeable Mountain Leaders and Lowland Leaders.
đ° London Social Hiking is a not-for-profit group, therefore you get an amazing value too! The price of the trip covers the running costs of the group and is significantly lower (at least 50%) than what a commercial operator would charge for a similar trip.

Join us for the iconic Three Peaks in Three Days Challenge â a fantastic adventure and a great way to experience the best mountain ranges that Britain has to offer in one long weekend! The Three Peaks in Three Days Challenge involves climbing the highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales over three days, one peak per day, whilst taking in the magnificent scenery these countries have to offer.
To maximise the enjoyment and the chances of successful ascents of all peaks, we'll travel to Scotland one day before, on Friday, staying overnight near Glasgow. We'll then start with Ben Nevis (1,345m) on Saturday, climb Scafell Pike (978m) in England on Sunday and finish with Snowdon (1,085m) in Wales on Monday! All routes will be guided by an experienced Mountain Leader, who has completed this challenge many times in the past (including the much tougher National Three Peaks Challenge in 24 Hours!). Throughout the whole trip, we'll use a private minibus with a dedicated professional driver.

Come and join us for a truly magical hike to the Cotswolds to explore some of the most beautiful villages in Britain!
Think honey-coloured cottages, cosy pubs, tiny tearooms and narrow streets. The unspoilt market towns and villages of the Cotswolds have a quintessential English charm found nowhere else in the world. It really is a unique experience!
We'll begin our hike at the charming old wool merchants' town of Chipping Campden, home to one of the prettiest high streets in England. Our trail will take us to the picturesque Cotswold villages of Broadway and Snowshill, through some of the Cotswoldsâ best scenery. This walk has plenty of viewpoints to stop and admire gorgeous panoramic views of dramatic escarpments, rolling hills (the âwoldsâ) and woodlands. The whole walk is within the protected Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), the largest of the 38 AONBs in England and Wales. After the hike, we'll enjoy a well-deserved pint at the traditional 15th-century Snowshill Arms pub.
HIKE HIGHLIGHTS
- Visit the stunning market town of Chipping Campden, famous for its elegant terraced honey-coloured High Street, dating from the 14th century to the 17th century. Admire the imposing medieval church of St James and the 400-year-old Cotswold Market Hall.
- Discover the picture-postcard village of Broadway (known as the âJewel of the Cotswoldsâ), and enjoy a leisurely lunch at one of its many charming, cosy tea rooms.
- Pass the outstandingly beautiful, unspoilt Cotswold village of Snowshill.
- Climb Dover's Hill (230m), with its glorious views over the surrounding countryside. Dover's Hill was the site of the original English Olympic Games, which began here 400 years ago in 1612.
- Climb to the magnificent Broadway Tower, built around 1800, and enjoy unrivalled panoramic views from one of England's favourite viewpoints.
- Hike the northern section of the Cotswold Way â one of the 15 National Trails, passing through some of the most stunning and diverse landscapes in Britain.

#################
This hike is now FULL.
Weâve created a list of FAQs to help you.
#################
Ready to embark on an epic and challenging âminiature mountain rangeâ adventure? Then join us on a day hike to the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty! We'll walk south to north, taking in all the main summits of the Malvern Ridge. This is a difficult hike with lots of ascents and descents. However, all our efforts will be well-rewarded by the dramatic scenery!
Rising abruptly from the flat lands of the Vale of Severn in the east and from the rolling hills of Herefordshire in the west, the Malvern Hills reach 425 metres at their highest point, Worcestershire Beacon. The spectacular landscapes and a wealth of ecological, historical and geological gems make them a unique destination. Did you know that at about 700 million years old, the rocks that form the Malvern Hills are some of the oldest in the UK?
The lofty hill range of the Malvern has attracted local tribes since prehistoric times. The summits offered good vantage points and were ideal for defence in troubled times. We'll pass the impressive ramparts of the Iron Age hill forts of British Camp and Midsummer Hill, thought to be over 2,000 years old. We'll also visit the famous man-made Hermit's Cave (also known as Clutter's Cave), cut out of the ancient rock at some unknown date.
Our hike will finish at Great Malvern, which was a popular spa town retreat for both the Georgians and the Victorians. For centuries, the Malvern Hills have been well-known for their health-giving spring waters. Many famous people came to Malvern to âtake the cureâ, including Charles Darwin and Charles Dickens.

Come and join us as we discover Sandringham â the much-loved country retreat of Her Majesty The Queen and the private home of four generations of British monarchs since 1862. The Royal Family traditionally spends Christmas and New Year at Sandringham House. On this day hike, we'll explore the Sandringham Country Park, which the Royal Family opened to visitors in 1968. The trail will take us through open heath and picturesque woodlands, planted mainly with Corsican and Scots pines, mixed with oak, sweet chestnut and birch.
We'll then head to the elegant seaside resort of Hunstanton, famous for its unique red and white striped cliffs. Walking along the beach, we'll see three distinctive layers of rock: at the top is white chalk (Ferriby Chalk Formation), followed by red chalk (Hunstanton Formation) and orange carstone (Carstone Formation) at the cliff base. You'll have time to discover the story and legend of St Edmund, Hunstantonâs most famous visitor and the first Patron Saint of England, by following Wolf Trail. At the end of the day, we'll relax by the North Sea and watch the waves, and, perhaps, the brave ones will even go for a swim!
