Let's hike in the Ridley Creek State Park as the sun comes up.
This is rated as a moderate hike with areas of difficulty due to uneven terrain, rocks & roots underfoot with a few steep inclines and declines.
Recommend hiking boots, use trekking poles if you need/have them.
Let's meet at the far end of the Mansion parking lot (See pin in the location section) by 6.30 am and head off onto the trail a few minutes after introductions...
Some stats for the hike so you can prepare appropriately
- The hike we do would be approximately 3-3.5 miles long
- There will be approximately 500 ft elevation gain during the hike.
- Should take somewhere between 90 mins to 2 hours based on the group.

- Assumption of Risk: Hiking and outdoor activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, weather conditions, wildlife encounters, terrain hazards, and medical emergencies. By joining any event, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
- Personal Responsibility: You are solely responsible for assessing your physical fitness, experience level, and ability to participate. You agree to bring appropriate gear, follow safety guidelines, and make informed decisions regarding your own well-being.
- No Liability: Magic Hour Adventures, its organizers, hosts, and affiliated members are not responsible for any injuries, accidents, property damage, illness, or other losses incurred during or as a result of participation in any event.
- No Lawsuits: By attending, you waive all rights to pursue any legal claims against Magic Hour Adventures or its organizers for any reason. You agree that participation is entirely at your own risk.
- Release & Indemnification: You release and hold harmless Magic Hour Adventures and its organizers from any liability or claims arising from your participation. You also agree to indemnify and defend them from any claims brought by third parties due to your actions during the event.
By attending any event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. If you do not accept these terms, please do not participate.
