Accelerate an MCP Client with Azure AI Foundry + OpenAI Agents SDK

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a standard way for AI agents to discover and call tools (APIs, services, data) without writing custom integrations for each one. In this meetup, we’ll explain MCP in plain English, show where Azure AI Foundry and the OpenAI Agents SDK fit, and run a simple end-to-end demo: an agent calling tools exposed through an MCP server. If time permits, we’ll briefly look at a multi-agent automation accelerator and discuss how MCP can complement multi-agent orchestration.
