The session will be led by Zikrija Saric and Loïs Loriot, who will share their experience at Vaudoise Assurances and show how they moved toward a more structured deployment process for semantic models and reports. They will also explain why now is a good time to explore this topic, with a new generation of tools making this process more accessible than ever.Agenda:

Data Quality Testing
A hands-on introduction to data quality in the data warehouse context. The session highlights why data quality is business-critical, outlines different types of tests, explains the distinction between syntactic and semantic validations, and demonstrates how to integrate a step-by-step testing strategy into existing data pipelines. Covering everything from quick wins to advanced monitoring approaches, in a tool-agnostic manner.Introduction to DAX User Defined Functions (UDFs)
A user-defined function is a DAX formula with parameters that can return values or tables. Parameters can be passed by value or by expression. In this session, you will learn how to define and consume user-defined functions in your semantic model, how to share them in different models, and how to use function libraries created by the community!Sponsor
