#16 - München Spricht über "Wie viel Emotion verträgt und braucht Politik?"

Wer sachlich argumentiert und die besseren Argumente hat – der bringt es in der Politik weit. So zumindest die These. Doch wer schon mal am Weihnachtstisch mit dem komischen Onkel diskutieren musste, weiß: Politik wird schnell emotional.

Ist das gut, schlecht – oder einfach unumgänglich? Wie sehr bestimmen Emotionen, worüber wir sprechen und was wir glauben?
Darüber und noch einiges mehr wollen wir mit euch diskutieren – und zwar umsonst und vor allem auf eine andere Art, als ihr es gewohnt sein dürftet.

Vorwissen braucht ihr nicht – nur Zeit und Bock auf respektvolle Gespräche.

How much emotion can – and should – politics involve?
The idea goes that those who argue rationally and have the stronger arguments are the ones who succeed in politics. At least, that’s the theory. But anyone who has ever had to debate politics with that odd uncle at the Christmas dinner table knows: politics quickly becomes emotional.

Is that a good thing, a bad thing – or simply unavoidable? To what extent do emotions shape what we talk about and what we believe?
We want to discuss this and much more with you – for freee and in a way that might be different from what you’re used to.

No prior knowledge is required – just time and an interest in respectful conversation.
