To celebrate Geoawesome's 15th anniversary, we're throwing an epic meetup in Munich (at Osapiens Terra Office) with the theme "Under the Ground to Above the Sky."

🌑 Underground: Pooja Pandey, Geospatial Analyst at FAO, will share how soil carbon loss is happening due to land conversion in DRC.
🌱 Ground: Florian Geiser, CEO of Hula Earth, will showcase the innovative biodiversity protection projects the Hula Earth team is building.
🛰️ Space: Marc Wieland, Researcher at DLR, will share how space tech is used for situational awareness during floods.
