Details
This tour takes us to the Wildalpjoch, a quieter summit neighboring the Wendelstein in the Bayerische Voralpen.
The hike starts directly at Bayrischzell station, so no bus transfer is needed. The route goes through forest, passes the Lacheralm, and follows a ridge to the summit at 1720m. The descent passes the impressive Kesselwand cliffs and includes the Siglhütte alpine hut.
There’s no hut on this tour, so have something to drink and eat with you. It’s recommended to have Spikes and Gaiters with you.
