XRB Launch Event: XGRIDS Lixel K2

On May 21, XR Bavaria, XR Hub Munich, and XGRIDS are hosting a launch event for the new XGRIDS Lixel K2.
The Lixel K2 is a lightweight 3D scanner that can generate multiple outputs from a single scan: point clouds, meshes, and 3D Gaussian Splatting data. What makes it especially interesting is the combination of visually convincing representation and a precise point cloud — similar to the K1, but with an evolved workflow.
At the event, we will show what the new scanner can do and how Gaussian Splatting and precise 3D capture can be combined in practical workflows.

Meet the speakers of the XGRIDS Lixel K2 Launch Event in Munich on May 21.

Colt Chen from XGRIDS will introduce the new Lixel K2 and explain what makes this scanner different from previous XGRIDS products.
We are also looking forward to insights from Colt Chen, who brings deep expertise in 3D scanning, surveying and drone operations.
Our second speaker is Tian Hao from Kudan, an expert in Gaussian Splatting. He I will share some of live experiences from using K2 with comparison against K1/PortalCam and how that can benefit the industrial use cases.
