Hi, I'm Jan. I'm a German teacher and master student of linguistics. I speak 8 languages. Currently picking up Chinese.

My approach in a nutshell:

1. Understand the message. 'What's up?' points to something that is 'up'. "Wie geht's?" points to something that is 'going'.
2. Learn how to use materials. Fun materials. Relevant materials. Like novels, songs, movies, newspapers etc. Not textbooks.
