For June's meetup we are diving deeper into AI agents and how to optimize and parallelize their execution in an hands-on talk. This event will be very special. We're collaborating with the Meetup Betreute Intelligenz. They are a biweekly AI meetup run by some cool people at BRANDAD. We like to see the local AI community growing so we're collaborating with them and combined our events for this month. So get ready to see new faces and meet AI experts from their community!

Our part of the evening's agenda starts at 6pm, but many of us will join the Betreute Intelligenz meetup already at 4pm. If you're free, come and hang out with us there!

Agenda:

  1. 16:00: Betreute Intelligenz - join their hand-on AI meetup!
  2. 18:00 Welcome with Lukas Spranger
  3. 18:15 - Roman Eichler: Large Language Models (LLMs) Agents and their Parallelization
  4. 19:15 - New! Interactive Lightning Talks: From the Community, For the Community
  5. Networking with Pizza and Drinks

---------------------------------

Talk: Large Language Models (LLMs) Agents and their Parallelization

The talk aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of LLM Agents, their underlying mechanisms, and closes by demonstrating approaches to enhance their speed through parallelization.
Key Highlights will be: Motivate the need of Agents in contrast to raw LLM calls; Explore (agentic) structures inside LangChain and AutoGen libraries; Understand two hands-on approaches for parallelization of Agents; Illustration of covered topics by project examples.

Roman Eichler works as a data scientist at Siemens.
He started his professional career in data science after graduating in mathematics (computer science as a minor). Over the years he has been involved in many different ML projects covering the entire AI lifecycle, mostly in the field of industry and production.
For the last year his main focus has been on GenAI.

Your name here, Interactive Lightning Talks
Engage in our dynamic new format where anyone can take the stage! In this format, we want to open the stage to all of us in our community. Give your own little talk, pitch your product idea, introduce your favorite algorithm, AI tool, or programming technique.

These talks will be timed. You have 3 minutes. After that, we will vote whether to continue or move to the next pitch. If we continue, the current talk will be extended once by an additional 5 minutes. It's all about sharing knowledge and ideas from our community, for the benefit of our community.

Get ready for some engaging and dynamic sessions designed for rapid learning and idea exchange. And bring your own thoughts and perspectives to share!

Post-Talks - Networking with Pizza and Drinks
As usual, follow up the talks with some quality networking time, enjoying Pizza and drinks with fellow data science enthusiasts and professionals from our community, Brandad and the Betreute Intelligenz meetup.
