Do you like crocheting, knitting, and other needlework? Do you like beer? (Of course you do!) Then this is the group for you! NYC Pints 'n' Purls is a Meetup group where folks can kick back with their needles and a pint of beer (or a glass of wine, or a martini) and just chitchat with other crafty folks. In fact, you could say we put the "craft" in "craft beer." (Groan!)
Folks of all ability levels and all stitching crafts (tatting, cross-stitching, needlepoint too!) are invited to join. Don't be shy, even if you're a beginner!

Stitch N Pitch Mets Game
Citi Field, Roosevelt Ave., Queens, NY, USLet's go to a Mets game together! June 10 is Stitch n Pitch night at Citi Field. There are 3 whole sections reserved for stitchers and hundreds have already signed up. Instructions say to bring your project to work on during the game. This sounds like my kind of sports event lol
We'll meet up as a group at 6:00pm at Grand Central Station and take the 7 train out to Citi Field together.
