We are a small group of Italians passionate about opera; we are the 'claque' that comments and talks loudly from the back rows; we are the ones who sing arias while grocery shopping. We go to the opera often and with pleasure.

Myth or humanity: Was Lucrezia Borgia truly a femme fatale – or rather a tragic mother figure? Donizetti breaks with traditional opera seria and creates a psychologically nuanced portrait of a woman caught between power, guilt, and longing.
