The Obsidian Keep, with Patnuvia the Space Vampire (Wolden RPG)

A keep in the throes of destruction. Chaos Magic. Dangerous yet romanceable characters. An antediluvian vampire from an orbital city.

Duke Avito and the sorceress Duchess Forza of the Obsidian Keep have ever been a thorn in the cardinal's side. Two weeks ago he finally sent his war fleet to destroy them, but they didn't return. Now you're there to bring back proof of the rulers' death, and yes, maybe rescue sailors and such.

You're close to the answer. A cult of blind, one-armed, red-robed priests had been swaying the duke towards chaos. An enormous explosion, mutations. The duchess and one of her children are somehow the key to all of this.

But also you rescued and nursed back to health Patnuvia, an ancient vampire from an orbital city, who, naturally, wants to return there. Will that derail the whole plot? Let's play to find out!

Wolden is a forest RPG of wayward cults, cults with powerful gifts, such as The Purgis Pact and their grimoire magic, the beautiful and terrifying Cenacle of Woodwose and Inflorescants, the regency gourmets and acrobats of The Lion Sodality, or the eye sorcerers of The Enlightened Conclave of Ocultists.

An easy but potent system, focusing on story over numbers (though the numbers are sound), welcoming to beginners and experts alike.

This session is part of an ongoing adventure, but no previous attendance or experience is required.
