On-Chain Governance Meetup

Who decides what changes are made to blockchains, and how are these decisions made? These are the governance questions some blockchain developers are looking to blockchain technology itself to address.

Existing blockchains and smart contract platforms either lack the ability to have technical governance mechanisms or prefer to govern “off-chain”—making decisions by online or in-person conversations.

To be able to easily gauge sentiment and make changes as transparently as possible, we are witnessing a movement towards ‘on-chain governance’ mechanisms.
