• Runspaces - Let's work in parallel | Guy R Leech
  Even with ForEach-Object -Parallel in PS 7.x, there are still many use cases for runspaces (e.g. in WPF GUIs, checking if a live, event driven, gridview has exited). My session would cover ForEach-Parallel too, for comparison purposes. Also, in the EUC space I work in, there is very little take up of PS 7 and probably won't be until it becomes embedded in the OS.
  My aim is to encourage their use by showing how easy they actually are to use.
