## Start Pride Month with Community, Food & Celebration in Vienna

Join us for a relaxed and colourful Pride Kick-Off Brunch at Villa Vida Café in Vienna on Saturday, May 30th from 10:00–13:00. This donation-based brunch is a chance to begin Pride Month together in a warm, community-focused atmosphere with good food, coffee, conversation, and queer joy.
Whether you are heading to demonstrations later in the day, meeting friends before events, or simply looking for a softer and more grounded way to start Pride, this brunch offers an open and welcoming space for queer people, allies, friends, families, and community members.
Expect a casual brunch setting with sweet and savoury options, coffee, tea, refreshing drinks, and a space to connect before the busy Pride Month begins. Villa Vida Café has become a community hub for queer events, workshops, meetups, performances, and grassroots organising in Vienna, and this brunch continues that spirit.

Donation-based
The event is donation-based because accessibility matters to us. We want people to be able to participate regardless of financial situation. Donations help support community programming, queer cultural events, and accessible spaces at Villa Vida Café.
Come solo, bring friends, or meet new people. Stay for a quick coffee or settle in for the full brunch. There is no strict schedule — just community, music, food, and an easy start into Pride celebrations.

## About Villa Vida Café

Villa Vida Café is a queer community café and cultural space in Vienna hosting regular events including queer karaoke, workshops, drag brunches, writers circles, language exchanges, mutual aid initiatives, and community gatherings. The café focuses on accessibility, inclusion, and creating spaces where people can connect offline.

## Accessibility

Villa Vida Café is wheelchair accessible, including an accessible toilet. If you have specific accessibility needs or questions, feel free to contact the café in advance.

Gayme Night is our cozy board games hangout for the queer community and friends. Expect classics, quick party games, and the occasional chaotic round where someone swears they “definitely read the rules” (they did not).
Come with your besties or show up solo — we’ll help people find a table and get a game going. The goal is simple: relaxed social time, a bit of playful competition, and a space that feels easy to enter.

How it works

• Drop in any time between 18:00 and 21:00
• Choose a game from the selection (or bring your own)
• Join an open table or ask us to match you with a group
• Play, snack, sip, repeat

Who it’s for
Queer folks and friends/allies who can respect the space. You don’t need board game skills—just basic kindness and the ability to lose gracefully

Free WiFi throughout the cafe
