This spooky season, that's the energy we're bringing to Reel Love with a screening of A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night (OmeU), a film that turns horror tropes on their heads and illustrates how terrified some men are of a woman in power.

After the screening, the Reel Love community invites you to stick around for one more drink as we discuss the small things that all of us, regardless of our gender, can do to challenge patriarchal structures, be better allies, and build communities where women feel safe.

For those who can't make it to the Filmrauschpalast on Friday, we also invite you to be part of our online discussion about the topic. We're conducting an online survey to get your thoughts on how patriarchy has played a role in your romantic relationships. Your responses will be used to guide the in-person discussion after the film, and then will be shared on our blog after the event.
