Is Spec-Driven Development Worth the Extra Effort?
SDD adds planning, documentation, and process overhead. So why use it? Based on real-world experience in a Brownfield data engineering project, this talk examines where SDD pays off, where it doesn't, and how custom Copilot workflows can reduce rework while improving consistency and review quality.
