Mahjong is a fascinating 4-player board game somewhat reminiscent of Rummy/Rummikub. You've probably seen the tiles being used for a pair-matching solitaire, but the actual game is completely unrelated.

Everyone is welcome, from absolute beginners to experienced players. I usually explain the rules from scratch, so you don't need to worry about doing any research before coming.

We usually play the modern Japanese version of mahjong ("riichi"). We're open to learning other versions if you're confident enough to teach them.
