Scala Coding Session - March 2018

After our last successful coding session we are planning another one for the 13th of March. This will be a good introduction to the Scala programming language for newcomers and a chance to share knowledge for more experienced developers.

In order to have more time for coding we will start a bit earlier at 18:00 which we hope is still OK for most of you. To make the Scala Coding Session even more interesting we are planning to have one or two breakout sessions where we have short lightning talks that give an introduction to the technologies we are working with.

The schedule for this evening will be:

18:00 - 18:30: Welcoming
18:30 - 18:45: Lightning Talk 1 (Giter8 - Laurin Novak)
18:45 - 20:00: Coding Session Part 1
20:00 - 20:15: Lightning Talk 2
20:15 - 22:00: Coding Session Part 2

We would like to work in small groups (~ 3 people) with an experienced developer in every group to share his experiences with newcomers.

Please let us know if you have a small project in mind that you would enjoy to share with others.
