Alwin is mainly a Java Developer who really enjoys working with Scala and is going to give us insights about his experiences introducing Scala at his employer, https://www.bat.at.

//Talk #2 - Akka Finite State Machine - Florian Heinisch

This talk will present the general concept and idea of finite state machines (FSMs). Based on a real world example, it will be demonstrated how easy it is to implement a FSM with Akka.

Florian Heinisch is a passionate software engineer with strong experience in Java, JEE and the Java ecosystem in general. As he is still excited about learning new technologies, he came across Scala which he thinks is great, especially when it comes to functional programming. Recently, he has been working in the field of operations by automating the provisioning of secure and resilient platforms tailored for operating high performant applications running on the JVM.

The place will be open after the official part for some drinks and interesting discussions.
