Dynamic Earth | Space Museum & 360° Planetarium Experience

Global news everyone,

ESO Supernova is a new planetarium centre (including a space museum) located on the Garching Research Campus, close to Munich. They offer a wide range of experiences, planetarium shows and tours related to cosmology and astronomy.

Let's visit their planetarium show "Dynamic Earth" together, a 360° immersive cinematic experience about the inner workings of the Earth's great life support system: the climate. This show will be in English Language.

Important: Tickets (6,50 EUR) are required to attend this experience and need to be purchased in advance, directly here on the ESO Supernova website:

If you want, you can focus on rows 6 and 7 when you select and book your seat(s), so we kind of have a common area for our group. But it's up to you.

Schedule:

- We meet at 2:45pm at the ESO Supernova entrance
- Everyone gets their ticket printed out at the welcome desk (you need to book your seat(s) in advance, see link above)
- Planetarium show starts at 3:30pm and will last 50min
- After the planetarium show, everyone interested can join us visiting the space museum there, which is really worth seeing. The museum is free of charge.

Since the building closes at 5pm and the planetarium show ends at 4:20pm, those of you who want to spend more time in the museum can of course also get earlier to ESO Supernova and visit the museum before the planetarium show.

Please be on time:

Visitors are asked to be on site at least 30min before the planetarium show begins. Late comers might not get access to the planetarium room after they have closed the doors. So in case you come by U-Bahn, please take into account that its a several minutes walk from the U-Bahn Station Garching-Forschungszentrum to ESO Supernova.
