2026 Open Science Day on Campus Garching

Great news everyone,

On Saturday, October 3, 2026 (a public holiday!), this year's Open Science Day will take place at the Garching Research Campus. Numerous institutes will open their doors for lectures, shows, experiments, exhibitions, and guided tours.

Of course, we don’t want to miss this highlight and will use this special opportunity to attend several events here.

We will meet at 10:30 a.m. at the southern exit of the Garching Forschungszentrum subway station (where Isarstraße begins) and then head together to the first event.

The schedule is not yet set on their website. As soon as there will be an update, we will decide which events we will focus on and if we split in groups depending on which events everyone wants to see.

There is also no information yet if all events will be in German or some of them will be in English (should be a mix).
