Our 8th meetup will be to somewhere the group's been to before, Mars Bar. It is still prob one of my fave places of all that we've explored so far ✨️
Their Fri nights now have a mellow one man acoustic set (which those who came for the first meetup heard) followed by a much more rocking out set by a different band that is also very good.
As this meetup group name suggests, music takes centerstage here! So if you're also keen on being immersed in music (rather than making small talk throughout when the music is playing) in the company of other music lovers this is for you.
We'll each pay for our own food and/or drink (let's support the venue by purchasing something), and get to enjoy some good music that evening. It is pretty free and easy so if you might need to arrive late or leave early that's fine too.
To join just RSVP and I'll help make the table reservation for the group. The table for 10 will be reserved under my name Diana, so you can just ask the staff if you don't see us when you get there.
As we've generally been waitlisted for past events, appreciate if you can change your RSVP at least one day before if you're not able to make it anymore so someone else can join. Also, Meetup automatically shifts attendance from waitlisted to attending when someone can't attend (not me!), so do check back in here to see if you have a spot if you're waitlisted to attend
I'm intentionally keeping the max group size a little smaller at 10 (including me) so it's easier to make conversation too!
