How can we integrate our "normal life" and our "spiritual life"?
Spiritual practices like meditation are not a goal in themselves - they are tools for processes of inner transformation, which help us cultivate wisdom in all aspects of our lives. If our spiritual practice extends beyond the meditation cushion and into all realms of our "normal life", our whole life can become a source of wisdom and growth!
In the Buddhist tradition, mindfulness and meditation are part of the Noble Eight Fold Path, which describes eight aspects of our lives where we can practice our spirituality. This week I want to share with you the aspects of the Eight Fold Path, and use its valuable insights as ideas of where to focus our attention on.
Let reflect together on what each it means for us today and we bring these teachings to life, so enjoy the fruits of our efforts on the spiritual path! 😊
The planned schedule for the evening is as follows:
6:15pm - 6:30pm - Meeting and settling in
6:30pm- 6:50pm - Meditation
6:50pm - 8:30pm - Input, exercises and discussions
8:30pm - open end - socializing
