Lightup Impact Community Evening: Youth Leadership, Health Justice & Social Impact

Join STEM4HEALTH Berlin, Bayer Volunteering Berlin, and Lightup Impact for an evening of inspiring stories, meaningful exchange, and new connections at the intersection of grassroots leadership, health justice, and community-driven innovation. 🌍

This event is for everyone interested in how people, networks, skills, and innovative ideas can contribute to healthier and more equitable communities — including students, researchers, technologists, entrepreneurs, health professionals, social-impact practitioners, and anyone curious about global health and community-building.

We are delighted to welcome Valeria Santoro, Founder and Director of Lightup Impact, an NGO and social enterprise registered in Austria and Kenya.

Lightup Impact supports young grassroots leaders across East Africa who are working for gender, education, and health justice. Through training, mentorship, networking, and community-building, the organisation equips young people with skills and connections to lead initiatives and create lasting change in their communities.
During the evening, you will be able to:
• Hear stories and insights from Lightup Impact’s work
• Explore the links between youth leadership, health equity, and grassroots innovation
• Take part in the interactive Build the Future Lab
• Meet people from Berlin’s health, life-sciences, technology, and social-impact communities
• Enjoy networking, one complimentary drink, and snacks
As a Bayer Volunteering activity, all ticket proceeds will be donated to Lightup Impact to support young grassroots leaders in East Africa. 💚
