Über uns

Running events for the local C++ community since 2016! This place aims to bring people together. We focus on C++ and related topics and we share knowledge and enjoy time together. From C++ newbies to C++ veterans, everyone who likes or is interested is welcome. Our events are open, inclusive, and positive spaces. We apply the Berlin CoC.

0x3F: Closing the Agentic Loop, every byte counts

0x3F: Closing the Agentic Loop, every byte counts

    a:place, Torshamnsgatan 27, Kista, SE

    Welcome to Meetup #63!
This time, we're hosted by our new SwedenCpp Pro Partner, Swedish compiler and embedded
    tools vendor IAR.
Thank you, IAR, for supporting the local C++ developer community!

Since Uppsala is a bit out of the way, we're holding the event at a:place in Kista. Another premiere. I am very excited!

    The program:
    Doors open: 17:30
    18:00 - 18:15: Intro, event host presentation, C++ news, and a quiz
18:15 - 18:50: Henrik, "From Prompt to Probe - Closing the Agentic AI Loop on Bare Metal"
18:50 - 20:00: Casual mingling and networking with refreshments 🍕🥤🤝
20:00 - 20:45: Jonas, "Making Every Byte Count"

    Väl mött! 🎉

    The program in detail:

Henrik Fransson: From Prompt to Probe: Closing the Agentic AI Loop on Bare Metal
What if AI could do more than suggest code, and actually drive hardware-in-the-loop test cycles on real systems?
This talk looks under the hood of a practical agentic AI workflow for embedded C++ development. By giving AI agents access to schematics, datasheets, and debug probes, we create a closed-loop system where the AI builds, flashes, tests, and iterates based on on-target feedback.

Jonas Persson: Making every byte count
This talk will address some of the ways a compiler toolchain can satisfy the special needs of small, memory-constrained embedded systems.
We will talk about features in the IAR embedded compiler and linker to control memory, and then cover how the optimizer makes your program smaller.
