>> Kirandeep Kaur: Agile at Work: ShuHaRi with Agile Retrospectives <<

About speaker
Kirandeep recently moved to a Scrum Master role and has a background of mobile app development. She always strives to highlight the importance of compassion and empathy in making a team successful.

Talk description
An agile retrospective allows a team to continuously improve and get better together. This simple practice lets members step back from the day-to-day challenges with product delivery. Instead, they focus on the team. "What are we doing well? What can we do better?" The answers to these questions help the team create a more agile mindset. They will be self-organized and more productive. Instead of a postmortem at the end of the project, they will have health checks throughout the project.
This talk dives into how to use different techniques to set up the right stage for a healthy retrospective discussion.

>> Ralf Niemeyer: Agile methodologies in a traditional enterprise world <<

About speaker
Ralf Niemeyer is the head of Digital Factory Business Customers at the German Telekom. He spent the last 15 years with customer processes, IT/Business collaboration and large-scale (but old-style) “Wasserfall Transformation” before he spearheaded the agile transformation and build up the first Digital Factory at Telekom Deutschland.

Talk description
In his talk he will give an insight into how the digital transformation and agile methodologies are put into place in a rather traditional enterprise world. He will share his open view on all the failures, draw backs and challenges they went through, how much time and energy the first step from “acting agile” to “being agile” took and a personal view on pros & cons of agile frameworks in a scaled environment.

>>> How to get there <<<

by public transport
From Cologne Ehrenfeld station (S12, S13, S19 etc.) it is easy to walk to the CHRONEXT Office. Another possibility is the U-Bahn line 3 or 4 to the station Venloer Straße Gürtel.

by car
As we don’t own any visitor parking spaces, please note that the public parking space around the office is very limited. We, therefore, recommend using public transportation.
Coming from the city centre, take the Venloer Straße and follow the direction Bocklemünd Mengenich. Arriving at the train station Köln-Ehrenfeld, leave the Venloer Straße into the Ehrenfeldgürtel. Turn the next street right into Vogelsanger Straße and the next street left into Lichtstraße. On the left-hand side, you will find our office.
