Meet other local hiking enthusiasts. Make a new friend or three. Burn a few calories. Enjoy nature in our fabulously beautiful Westchester County, the Hudson Valley and beyond!!

This is a hiking group with a wide range of hikes, with some that include rock scrambles. You hike at your own risk, leaders are not responsible for your safety. Please wear hiking shoes/boots. Bring plenty of water, snacks if you like.

Dogs are welcome to come with us when the event writeup says it's a dog friendly hike.

It's required that members have their name and a picture of themselves in their profile for safety.

Join us for a fun intermediate hike at this little known gem rich in Revolutionary War/Battle of White Plains history. Unexpected terrain right outside of White Plains. 3-4 miles, 1 1/2 - 2 hours. This is NOT a hike for beginners, make sure you're fit enough for the quick pace and steep climbs. Please arrive at 10:45am. We leave on time at 11.

The parking lot is a little tricky to find, allow extra time if it's your first trip here.

Waterproof hiking boots highly recommended, bring water, hydrate before hike.

**Kindly cancel your spot by 2pm the day before the hike if you won't make it.

Participation is at your own risk. Hike leaders are not responsible for your safety, you can sustain an injury while hiking.

The dues to run the group are about $400/year. Any small contribution you would like to make to keep our great group going is appreciated. Thanks.
