Owl Walk in Neukölln – Discover Long-eared Owls in the City
Did you know that Long-eared Owls spend the winter right here in Berlin? Join wildlife biologist Marcel Gerson for a guided evening walk in Neukölln to search for these fascinating birds.
Long-eared Owls often roost together in surprising places, sometimes just a few meters above busy city streets. During our walk we’ll quietly explore known roosting areas and learn how to spot these well-camouflaged owls. Along the way we’ll also look for other urban wildlife and birds active.
Marcel is a wildlife ecologist who has worked with large mammals, Arctic wildlife, and bird monitoring projects. He will share insights into owl behavior, urban ecology, and how wildlife adapts to city environments.
