Your World After Gaza
Details
Inspired by Pankaj Mishra's framing in "The World After Gaza," our first dialogue shifts the focus inward. We move from the geopolitical to the personal, asking: What is Your World After Gaza?
This event is a space for young Muslims in Hamburg to engage in a structured, intellectual discussion on how witnessing these events reshapes our individual perspectives, convictions, and roles in society.
Our Discussion Focus:
- Personal Impact: How have you processed the events? How have they influenced your worldview, your faith, or your sense of agency?
- Intellectual Response: Beyond the immediate emotional reaction, how has your analysis of global power structures, media narratives, or international institutions changed?
- Looking Forward: How does this altered perspective inform your path forward—personally, professionally, or as a member of the global community?
Format & Tone:
We will anchor our conversation in critical thinking and mutual respect. The goal is understanding, not debate; reflection, not rhetoric. We will briefly examine the role of international systems to ground our personal reflections in a broader context, maintaining the formal and intellectual character that defines our group.
