Update from Ukraine with Lawrence Richmond

Lawrence Richmond manages two large farms, one in Ukraine not far from the front and the other in Romania. His reports on the war are always fascinating and a very different summary from what we hear on the news.
Its now 10 months since Lawrence last gave us an update. The situation has changed dramatically since his last report. The Black Sea opened up for grain shipments and has now closed again. The Kakhova Dam was destroyed, and the floods were only 80km from Lawrence’s farm.
Lawrence will speak to us on Zoom so there will be no luncheon in September. I’ll be in Tanzania and will be able to give you an update on our activities over there.
