What we're about

Meet your traveling friends! We are building a community of friends, not only from the Southern California area, but from all over the world, who like to travel.

If you love to travel I'm sure you've been there: You decide on a place you want to go to. Maybe you even start planning the trip. Then you try to find friends to go with you, and everyone has all sorts of reasons (excuses...) why they can't go. Or even worse, sometimes you even schedule the trip, and your friends pull out!

Well, that's why we started 1000 Treks Travel Community. We are a group of friends who like to travel. We are welcoming, we are fun, we are inclusive; and, most of all, we want to see everything there is to see and do everything there is to do!

Join us and let's build a community to see the world together!

1000 Treks has never failed to see the Northern Lights whenever we planned a trip to see them, because we always pick the perfect conditions and locations. Once again, we will be all-but-guaranteed to see the Aurora, not only once but several times.

2023 will be a year of high solar activity (close to solar maximum), and in 2023 spring equinox will happen during the new moon. Those are three of the most powerful elements for the best Northern Lights viewing. The next time this will happen will be in 2031!

HIGHLIGHTS:

- Go on SIX Northern Lights outings to comfortable locations with cabins or yurts for us to keep warm wile seeing the Aurora.

This is a super early Announcement because this expedition has just been released and it's already booking up!

If you are interested in going, make your deposit ASAP, because this trip will sell out fast.

A dream to every travel lover: Antarctica, the ice continent, the southernmost continent in the planet. You have seen (or will see) the other 6 continents, now let's go on a cruise/expedition to experience the 7th and most intriguing one of all!

You will need to put down a 20% deposit in order to book your room. Final payment will only be due three months before departure, which will give you A LOT of time not only to plan and finish paying, but also to make sure you will have the vacation time to go.

On this expedition, the ship will cross the Antarctic Circle and we'll go as far south as we can. By the way, we will also be organizing an Arctic expedition the following year, so you will be able to brag that you have been to the highest latitudes and lowest latitudes on the plant. We will get to see thousands of penguins, whales, leopard seals and countless other amazing animals, in a land truly like no other in the world. Besides zodiac tours on that expedition, we will be able to go kayaking, hiking camping for a night on land, do the polar plunge (I know, not for everyone, but I think YOU will... ;-)), and scuba dive (experienced dry suit divers only).
