I plan to visit all the VIrginia state parks in 2026 to obtain my master hiker's designation. Join me for all of some or just one of these hikes!
As I live in Northern Virginia, I will likely be doing those hikes one at a time. As for the others, I'm going to choose one weekend a month, and go stay (likely camping most of the time) in that area and visit as many nearby hikes as I can in that weekend.
Your input is welcome as I have not visited most of the parks in this challenge. Got tips? Share them! Best time of year to go? Where to stay? What not to miss? When not too go? Tell us everything!
