Named one of the “10 Best Fall Harvest Festivals in the Nation”, this annual street festival in charming downtown Waynesville is a delicious way to enjoy the tastes of the fall season. This premier arts and crafts event celebrates apples and the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains. Stroll the historic Main Street filled with vendors and a wide variety of shops and restaurants.
Admission is free!
This will be a great event for new and local people to meet! The idea here is to do a meet and greet where we talk over some homemade ice cream or breakfast (we're all adults we can eat in whatever order we want 😆). After that we can disperse in groups, have some fun exploring, and then meet back up for lunch to debrief on our adventures!
We will try to meet at the food truck area at 10:00 am so everyone can find parking with ease. This will also allow those new to WNC and the festival time to take it all in before the crowds.
The event last most of the day, however you can easily see all there is to see within 3-4 hrs.
See y'all there!
